A designer dream house with an airconditioned “cubby house” is set to rewrite property records in Sydney’s north west.
The high end Kellyville Ridge property at 1 Lachlan Court is tipped to break the current 2018 suburb record of $1.76m at auction next week.
Listed with First National Hills Direct — The Ponds agent Paul Land, the five-bedroom has an auction guide of $1.7m.
Mr Land said interest for the property has been particularly strong in the lead up to the December 19 auction.
“All indicators point that we will be looking at a new suburb record for Kellyville Ridge in just over a week,” he said.
The custom built home features a towering entry foyer, plus palatial indoor and outdoor entertaining spaces. There is also a theatre with Bose surround sound, a home office and a kitchen featuring a butler’s pantry and integrated fridge.
Upstairs has a main bedroom that could be considered a fully fledged apartment. It has a walk-in wardrobe and an integrated bathroom that even has a lounge. The floor also has four other bedrooms with built-in wardrobes.
Mr Land said the architectural home is unlike anything else that has sold in Kellyville Ridge.
“Most of the homes in the suburb are the standard cookie cutter home, which makes a custom built house like this one even more special,” he said.
At the rear of the property is an outdoor deck with a kitchen and ceiling fans, as well as a swimming pool, spa and firepit. There is also an airconditioned cubby house that can also be used for a number of other features according to Mr Land.
“Currently it is used a teenage retreat for the kids to play Play Station,” he said.
“If you have younger kids it can become cubby house, otherwise it could even be used as a home office.”
