A private park that’s pet friendly awaits buyers of the Victoria & Burke development.
A new Camberwell apartment development is embracing the hallmarks of London’s most exclusive enclaves, providing residents with a private park.
The 16-apartment Victoria & Burke complex will feature a secret garden with a 200-year-old blue gum on 400sq m — the size of a modern house block.
CBRE Residential director Andrew Leoncelli said with tall hedges for privacy and landscaping by Jack Merlo, the garden will bring something few apartment projects can offer: space.

“There’s enough space to walk the dogs — it is a pet-friendly development — or kick the football with the grandkids,” Mr Leoncelli said.
“It’s very much modelled on the Notting Hill, London, private park.”
The development will blend greenery with modern design.
Carr Design have guided the architecture inside and out, making an impression with a combination of rendering, steel and greenery.
They have prioritised space with interiors ranging from 110-320sq m, while ground-level apartments have up to 200sq m of private gardens.
Floorplans include two- and three-bedroom designs, as well as three- or four-bedroom penthouses.
Rooftop views to Melbourne’s CBD will showcase the development’s elevated location.
Open-plan living spaces join kitchens defined by Gaggenau and Liebherr appliances, as well as slabs of solid marble that are also set to feature in the bathrooms.
Some apartments will take luxury up a notch with fireplaces and walk-in cellars. The penthouses will also afford their owners uninterrupted city views. Construction is due to begin in September and finish late in 2022.
Spacious interiors are also part of the plan for the development’s 16 apartments.
Two-bedroom apartments will range from $1.35-$1.39 million, and three-bedroom floorplans from $2.1-$2.5 million.
The penthouses are priced from $4.5-$5.5 million.
