“Lots of celebrities have poured their souls to me around the kitchen or in the living room,” Bennett said.

“If this house was to write a book, it would have plenty to of stories to share.”

The couple are selling the three-bedroom pad under the hammer on October 30 with price hopes of $1.85m-$2.035m as they move to Queensland for Mr Murchie’s work.

Bennett said it had been a “wonderful inside-outside party house”, which had also been used as a backdrop for his exclusive TV interviews and photo shoots in the pages of Woman’s Day and New Idea.

Timber details, floor-to-ceiling windows, polished concrete floors and a private “outdoor rock garden” were highlights of the Bali-inspired pad.


Floating stairs lead to the bedrooms upstairs.




Marshall White’s Mark Harris said the property had a “very calming effect as soon as you walk through the doors”, while still being so close to Chapel St.

The couple were also auctioning off their three-bedroom home in Northbridge, NSW at 43a Minnamurra Rd on October 23.
